The prompt I used to optimize my resume was a prompt that stated: “Create two alternate versions of this resume: One version targeted to the marketing industry, and another version targeted to the music industry.” Changes that I noticed between the two different resumes is that they tailored my skills to the two different industries. For marketing, it stated that I was good with things such as customer interaction, understanding of consumer needs, and ability to represent a brand positively. For the music resume, it said that I was able to work in loud, fast paced environments, strong in teamwork and communication, and that I had experience with large event crowds. What I learned about prompt engineering, is that it’s good to be specific and clear about your needs when writing prompts, and that you’re also able to get a lot of good information from the AI that caters to the specific audience if you engineer it correctly.
